Michael is German and has worked in men’s hair systems for more than 30 years. He is the specialist attending to clients in real time at the HEADS salon in Makati — the consultation, the template, the hairline, the cut-in and the servicing.
That matters more than it sounds. A hair system is not a product you buy off a shelf; it is fitted to one head, and the difference between undetectable and obvious is decided by the person holding the scissors. Thirty years is the length of time it takes to make that decision look easy.

Alexandra is the technical specialist and co-owner of Bergmann, and works directly with our production team at The European Hair Factory. She is the link between the German technical standard and the bench where your system is actually made.
Bergmann was founded in 1873 and is still owned by the same family, now in its fifth generation. That is not marketing heritage — it is the reason the technique is consistent.
We make what we fit
Our hair systems are produced at The European Hair Factory, our own atelier in the Philippines. Bases are built, hair is knotted strand by strand, and every piece is finished by hand by trained technicians working to the German specification.
This is the part of the business most clients never see, and the part that decides everything: base construction, knot type, hair quality, density, direction. A trader can offer you a choice of what a factory happened to make. We make yours to your head.

What this means when you sit in the chair
You are dealing with the maker, not a middleman. If your hairline needs to move a few millimetres, or the density at the crown needs to come down so it reads as natural for your age, that instruction goes to our own bench — not into a supplier’s order form.
It also means the person fitting your system understands how it was built. Michael can explain why a particular base suits your scalp, your climate and how you live, because he has spent 30 years working with the people who make them.
